This was the most difficult week of the four-week period. The combined figure of –8.14u is a result we log honestly and without qualification. Two 0–0 draws, a 3–3 and an upset loss on 28 April set a tone that took the rest of the week to partially recover from. The 29 April day added to the pressure — Stockport, Northampton and Roda JC all failed to perform as analysed.
The recoveries were real but insufficient to offset the early damage. Leeds delivered cleanly on both lines on 2 May. Sporting Braga, PSG, Bournemouth, Man United vs Liverpool and Villarreal all performed as expected. Barcelona's 1–2 win at Osasuna produced two half-correct AH outcomes — the –0.75 line left no room for a narrow win. These are the margins that separate a positive week from a negative one.
